The mission of the Delaware Tech Athletic Department is to provide a comprehensive support program for all student-athletes that promotes academic success, a positive athletic experience, and overall personal growth. Student-athletes are encouraged to strive for academic excellence. Athletics staff members work closely with coaches, staff, faculty, and members of the Student Affairs division to help student-athletes balance the demands of athletics and academics and make sure they are on the path toward the completion of a degree and graduation.

Delaware Technical Community College competes in Region XIX of the National Junior College Athletic Association in the following sports: baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, lacrosse, softball, and women's volleyball. Delaware Tech is also a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference within Region XIX, providing the opportunity to compete in conference-level championship tournaments.
Delaware Tech has experienced tremendous success in athletics over the years, including multiple teams winning region and district championships, and several athletes earning All-Region, All-American, and All-Academic honors.
Students attending Delaware Tech can apply to play a sport at any campus and are not limited to the campus they are attending. Delaware Tech’s athletics departments operate under the guidance of the Dean of Student Affairs offices, and follows all bylaws and regulations established by the NJCAA and Region XIX. Students interested in athletic participation must meet NJCAA eligibility requirements.
